hard to get around plants but does the job

does a great job watering but product should come with technique advice on package about how to lay it out with different garden arrangements and how many coils should be around different sized plants
Pros: waters plants thoroughly, not unsightly like sprinklers
Cons: hard to work with always coiling up everywhere

Great for Gardens

I bought this hose to soak my vegetable garden & it really does the job! It also worked great to soak my trees (I have Arborvitae & spruce).
Pros: easy connect, tough material well-made
I would recommend this to a friend!

i have a very small yard, 1/5 acre i think and i am an avid gardener. i moved into my new home in 10/09 with a pretty much clean slate as far as gardens go. so i began, and continued and added and now my lawn square footage is less then my gardens. it was taking over an hour just to do a moderate watering of all gardens. i was reluctant to attempt the soaker hose method of watering but i finally gave in and i was very pleasantly surprised at the depth of penetration the water was making, over 6 inches deep. i have 1 50ft soaker hose embedded in my daylily border bed and all i do now is hook up the hose and forget about it for an hour or 2.
Pros: much less water waste, rugged construction, up and forget about it, i plan to convert to all soaker hoses
Cons: doesnt have a hose plug for when not in use, no kinks allowed wide radius turns
I would recommend this to a friend!
