Poor oscillating mechanism

I had exactly the same experience as the previous reviewer. The sprinkler worked for about a month and then would go only in one direction and shoot horizontally across the grass. To add insult to injury, its built so it cannot be taken apart and repaired.

No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This sprinkler trip mechanism is poorly built

I have had two of these sprinklers. The first on failed after about 4 waterings. The local hardware store freely replaced it. This replacement failed after only 12 hour operation. As the sprinkler runs it slips the trip setting and gradually goes farther and farther to the left. Eventually shooting horizonal into the grass. Resetting it lasts about 10 minutes. I intended to use this "heavy duty" sprinkler to replace my 40 yr old Nelson oscillating sprinkler that still works fine exept I have been unable to find a replacement end plug that I lost. It was not a good replacement!

No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
