Great Product, High Quality, Very Well Made

Very well contructed driver, easy to use, no wasted motion. Not like any other screwdriver you'll find on the market. Only Con I have is the storage case for the Bits, doesn't have a lid that closes tight. Love the Flex tool as well, wish there was storage for it though. The driver and bit are al high quality and I highly recomend this tool they just need to improve the storage case.

I got the idea for this from an ad on TV. Turns out the one on TV was junk, so much so that the only place that sold it on the street, Lowes...discontinued it. This one is far better made, does exactly the same thing and was the same price.

This screwdriver works as claimed. It is very smooth and has a solid feel to it. The bits coming out way to easy cost it a full 5 star rating.

Excellent product for the money

I have had several ratcheting screwdrivers, but this one is the best. Of all those it is the most comfortable to use, ample number of bits included in a bit-case (but bits can also be stored in screwdriver handle), bits change easily, flexible shaft included, it was cheaper than any other I found on the Internet, and if you grip the knurled ring just above the shaft while ratcheting, the clockwise and couterclockwise rotations of the handle will both either tighten or lossen the screw depending on whether tighten or lossen has been respectively set (double ratcheting action); this is in addition to the usual ratcheting action. Only con is that the cover for the bit-case cannot be secured, so the cover falls off easily.

Pros: double ratcheting action (see review explanation), flexible shaft included, bits can be stored in srewdriver handle

Cons: bit-case cover falls off easily.

really nice hand tool! i was about to get the one from Lowe's but then i read a review that Lowe's decided to make some of the mechanics out of plastic, and another Lowe's reviewer mentioned that the True Value models mechanics where still made with actual metal parts. so i obviously went with the true value model. Its really nice and sturdy, and its been great to use!!!

Like a Power Drill without Electricity

The dual action of this swift driver is great, it really speeds up low torque screw driving (you know like for those long screws on outlet boxes for the house and the like). The dual drive doesnt work well in dual mode for higher torque operations (like the final tightening turn or initial loosening turn on a screw) but you can always use it like a normal ratcheting screwdriver in those cases.

Been Waiting for This One

I've been waiting to get a Swift Driver ever since I was introduced to the concept, but was unable to get it, under another brand name a number of months ago. I have not been disappointed by the wait.

The screwdriver itself is deceptively efficient. Since it does not "click" like the typical ratchet driver, you don't realize at first just how much work you are accomplishing. And, it takes a moment to get used to the Dual-Drive feature, but once you get the hang of it, your work becomes even more efficient.

My ONLY complaint is that True Value apparently does not ship directly to its customers. As a result, I had to drive 80 miles round-trip to get my shipment at the nearest store. But, I ordered two units -- one as a gift -- to optimize my travel, so even that bit of inconvenience was not totally unreasonable.

Pros: efficiency of the dual drive mechanism, ample accessories for just about any type of screw

Cons: no direct shipping to home address
