I love these lights but...

I love therse lights because they are solar powered. it is very difficult to find solared powered Christmas lights this bright and with large bulbs. However, one cannot get replacement solar panels,bulbs or batteries for the lights. I purchased through True Value online; when I had a defective solar panel, True Value was great, they sent a whole new package of lights. But then I had an extra string of lights. A worker drove over 2 panels, and once again, I could not purchase or find just the solar panel. GE was of no help what-so-ever. I spent a good amount of time searching for the correct solar panel, and 55 minutes on the phone with GE Customer Service in India, only to be told they do not sell the solar panel separate from the lights, or the battery. When a batter goes out, one cannot find the "special" rechargeable batttery.

Pros: portabe and bright

Cons: no replaceable parts

I would recommend this to a friend!
