Worked fine for a couple of years. Battery started to die. Then the blower wheel broke into a million pieces. Black and Decker won't sell you a replacement part, just the whole motor. Not worth the cost. So I got another entire blower. A couple of years later the blower wheel broke on it, too. Not a bad unit. It is fine for small jobs. But it should last longer, or B&D should sell new blower wheels. The same wheel is used in several models, all made in China. Check out the internet. Many, many people have the same problem with the blower wheel. So plan on about 3 years of light use. Then the battery and blower wheel give out.
Pros: cordless
Cons: short life
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Super for clearing the patio/deck without having a long cord to drag along. Best gain was shopping on line and then being able to have the item sent to my neighborhood hardware. I much prefer my local hardware store to any of the large mega stores.
Pros: supporting your local small business
