no remote and no thermostat, but that would come in a differant unit, which the next time I would get instead of this one,

We live in an older home with two real fireplaces. Problem is, we spend most of our time in our den! Thought this would be a nice addition to make the room more cozy. We love the no-hassle set up and use of this fireplace. It's very attractive and just the right size for our room. I see that there are larger sizes, but I think this one works the best for our needs. Also, free shipping to the store made this a no brainer.
Pros: easy set up, attractive look (wood and marble), free shipping to the store, great price
