Overall, I love the new Master Mechanic line. I bought a cordless drill previously and recently bought this jigsaw. It works wonderfully in all kinds of materials - I actually use it more than my circular saw for wood projects! My only complaint is that the when you release the button to stop the saw, it really doesn't stop. So you have to press the button to turn off the saw. I'm thinking this is so you don't have to hold down the button while sawing, but it's a little scary sometimes when you're done cutting & the saw keeps going.

I would recommend this to a friend!
