Too flimsy

The chairs are attractive, but a bit too lightweight and flimsy. There's too much give in the back so that when an adult uses the chair, he angles backward at about 45 degrees, not a comfortable position.
Pros: attractive
Cons: flimsy
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Having hunted far and near for a reasonably priced non-wooden Adirondack Chair for my Husband's Birthday, I finally found one on the Tru-Value site. It seems to be very sturdy and well-made, especially considering its price. We had a windstorm yesterday and it held its ground unlike our other porch chairs which flew into the yard. Very comfortable and a very appealing Forest Green color. Husband pleased, so I am pleased. Thank you Tru-Value!
Pros: nice color, comfortable, sturdy, priced right

Great chair for a great price

I had been seeing this type of chair for a couple of years, but did not want the bright oranges, yellows, etc. colors that I had been seeing. I loved this green color and the price was less than the lowest price I had seen in a store.
I gave them 4 instead of 5 stars because the legs do not seem as sturdy as the same type of chairs our daughter has had for 5 or 6 years.
Ordering from True Value online was easy & store delivery was a flawless process. I would definitely do this again!

I purchased these chairs to replace some that were over ten years old and had cracked. These new chairs are great and are actually more comfortable than the old ones. Plus they are made in the USA which is a huge reason I bought them.

These chairs look good, They are not sturdy especila\ly with bigger people. they'd be okay with children. I bought some of these years ago. They were okay, but as with many products over the years less material less quality

Thin and flimsy

The chairs are cheaply made, thin and flimsy. I wish I had tried them out before leaving the store. I assumed they would be sturdy, like the ones I had, but I was wrong. Add flimsy and non-supportive to the extreme angle of the back of the chair, and the result is an uncomfortable chair that leans too far back when I sit in it. I very much regret my purchase. I'll have to throw the chairs away because no one in my family can sit in them comfortably.
Pros: i like the color, this was the only store with this color, the people at the store were very courteous

I purchased 2 chairs and I think they are just great. I have been trying to find cushions for the chairs without having to purchase the actual adirondack cushions and I am finding it very difficult. Other than my problem I recommend the chairs for purchase by everyone.
