This cedar-wrapped mailbox is great for giving your curbside a country look. This is a standard size galvanized mailbox housed in an aromatic red cedar. A Plastic flag kit is included. The cedar wood weathers to a naturally over time, unless treated occasionally with a standard wood or deck sealer. Proudly made in the U.S.A.

Board warped and loosened soon after instalation.

The mailbox looked fine. I treated the wood with weather sealant before I installed it. Acouple of days after installation and a rain I noticed that one of the boards was warped and had become loose on one end - nearest the post. I am going to try to glue the board to the box.
I do not believe that such should have occurred within such a short time. Quality control seems lacking.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
