For many years, I have created wood items in my workshop and have traditionally avoided combo stain/varnish products. I chose to use this product in cherry to refinish a small table I had previously finished in honey oak (oak wood, stain, satin polyurethane). This product did a beautiful job of creating a cherry look to the table while retaining the grain features of the oak. I used it both as a brush-on (which I didn't care too much for the results which were more a problem with me than the product) and sprayed it with a touch-up spray gun. It is easy to overspray (overload) but did a fantastic job otherwise.
I would recommend this to a friend!
