These Brackets are just perfect for the way I needed to use them. I had to hang a shelf from the 'underside' of a 6"x6" beam in our post and beam house. I needed to have Brackets that were still sturdy, but attractive, because they were in full view, being attached to the top of the shelf completely upside down. These worked wonderfully and are perfect for our home, with it's cedar and knotty pine walls and cathedral ceiling and our copper and black detailing.
Pros: beautiful and sturdy!
