Came upon this and picked it up at half price, never had a chance to read a review. Indoor/outdoor thermometer is inaccurate. Because it is supposed to be a rain gauge (that's why I bought it) it has to be out in the open, unobstructed area. The sun makes it at least 20 deg. hotter then what it actually is. The rain guage only reads the first 0.1 to 0.5, then every inch up to 6 inches. So, if it rains 0.8 inches, the last reading will be 0.5 inches, until it rains 1 inch, then up to 1.5 inches, 2.5 inches, etc, up to 6. You will not read at least the 0.5 inches of rain between 0.5 and the next inch. Cheap plastic that will no doubt break when you change batteries or reset the sync to the base unit. Junk. Get a beaker and a ruler. I would give this 0 stars.
Pros: no pros, see cons
Cons: cheap plastic that will break, not accurate as a outdoor thermometer, rain gauge no readings between increments, cheap stand to hold up the indoor base unit
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
