This product is a waste of time and money.

I purchased this humidifier and after 5 days the humidistat stopped functioning. It remained at 45 degrees of relative humidity. I called Essick and they said to return it to the store and exchange it for another. The second one functioned even worse. Not only was the humidistat not functioning but the fan speeds did not work.
This is a poorly made piece of junk.

No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
