Perfect Household Storage

For my purposes, these footlockers are perfect for Christmas decorations, photo albums, and miscellaneous clutter. They're more rigid than most plastic tubs and stack neatly. The wheels in the lower corners are great for pulling lockers to you when stored two or more deep on a shelf, crawl space or attic. The lacthed lid only adds to the stability.

I would recommend this to a friend!

Poorly constructed and flimsy

We read good reviews of this product on several sites, so we ordered four of them delivered to our local store. When we received them, one was badly damaged, another was in the process of breaking, and two had improperly fitted lids. The lids we attached in such a way that water would run down into the inside of the locker. We did not realize that the lid simply rests on the body of the locker with no lip to keep moisture out. We have used more expensive storage lockers as checked baggage while traveling to Africa in the past. We hoped to do the same with these, but have found them unfit for purpose.

If you are only going to put some of your belongings in these and leave them in storage in a dry place, then they may be fine. If you are planning to use them for anything more than this, then you should look for a different product.

I would not recommend ordering online, as you need to see the locker you will be taking home before you spend any money on it.

Pros: good wheels, good shape, excellent handles

Cons: flimsy, shoddy construction, too weak for airline travel, poor lid design

No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
