The assembly was straightforward, very few confusing steps and as long as you're looking at the pretty pictures in the book it'll be fine! The assembly instructions are all pictorial and somewhat like 'paint by numbers'.
I was pleased at how sturdy the cooking grate and containment was, but the tubular legs are about as thin as metal can ever be. I got the sense that the legs will dissolve in a decent rain.
Although this grill is exactly what I wanted I downgraded the rating to "Average" solely because of the cheap legs.
Pros: ease of assembly, heavy duty grate
Cons: cheap metal legs
I would recommend this to a friend!
